I started in financial services 23 years ago for a local building society after leaving school as a customer service advisor and trained to become a mortgage advisor. I spent 6 years there and progressed my career to Branch Manager of their flagship branch.

I later joined a local small mortgage brokerage and carried on my career for 14 years, developing my knowledge of the mortgage market and gaining a vast amounts of experience arranging mortgages, helping clients from first time buyers to portfolio landlords.

During this time my family grew and I found it increasingly difficult to manage a fulfilling work life balance. That’s when I joined Your Mortgage Brokerage. Having young children and a career is a difficult balance to obtain but being able to do a job that I am extremely fortunate to say ‘I absolutely love’ and still be there for my family is priceless.
