I first started in the industry at a local independent estate agency in 2002 as a Sales Negotiator. Within a year I was promoted to Property Valuer, which I enjoyed. In 2005, I qualified in my CeMAP qualifications and started a new direction in my career as a Mortgage Advisor. Immediately I found a real sense of achievement in dealing with clients needs and desires to move home and being the person able to make these dreams a reality.
By September 2007, my first child was born. This gave me a different aspect on life and I needed to, and wanted to, climb and exceed where I already was and felt I was being held back within the company I was at. In Feb 2008 I started a new role as Mortgage Broker at a local brokerage and really loved it. Unfortunately, due to the 2008 property market slump, by October 2008 I, unfortunately, found myself redundant.
After this, I took a new role in the Police Force working at Lincolnshire Police, moving through the ranks of neighbourhood policing, response and as a DC in CID, where I finished my police career in 2015. I made the difficult decision to leave the police force and come back into the financial services to join Kelly within the business that had already been started.
Since then our business has gone from strength to strength and I am as passionate today as I was at the very start in helping people achieve their dream move and making peoples dreams a reality.
